The Made in FADU fair at the University of Buenos Aires' Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism (FADU) is a space for students and graduates to showcase their design businesses. It used to be informal and unstructured, lacking a clear identity. This project, in collaboration with the Institutional Relations Secretary, brought a more cohesive and professional feel. Using university resources and a bit of creativity, we not only organized and branded the fair but also built a sustainable model to support student entrepreneurs for the long run.

The biggest challenge was the tight two-week deadline and nearly nonexistent budget. To understand user needs, I relied on interviews—speaking with students, entrepreneurs, the university dean, and staff. Combining these insights with benchmarking, I began shaping the proposal, making the most of available university resources to ensure everything was done at no extra cost.

The result was a nearly zero-cost, self-sufficient fair designed around the experience of students and entrepreneurs. By using university printers, leftover wood, and the support of carpenters and staff, we built a well-organized event with a strong identity. To ensure long-term sustainability without extra costs for the school, we also introduced a merchandising stand that helped fund future editions of the fair.
